Hospital scene as wife and rival clash over lover
In Richmond Virginia November 20 a hospital scuffle erupted when A R McKenzie’s wife and his Cleveland partner Irene Bohley faced off for control of a revolver. Bohley shot herself seriously wounding her, a letter with insurance and a stated intent to kill McKenzie and herself was found. Police took charge as both women had visited during his treatment for rheumatism after a Mann act acquittal.
