Macon man Ed Harrold, well known in Americus, was seriously injured in a head on crash near Valdosta Saturday while returning from Fort Lauderdale. His brothers Frank and Thomas Harrold, of Americus, and Mrs. Ed Harrold traveled to Valdosta after receiving the news. The party had been visiting Florida and all occupants of both cars reportedly injured, with Harrold suffering a crushed shoulder, both arms broken, and internal injuries feared. Frank and Tom Harrold planned to leave for Valdosta tonight.
