Ring theft suspect nabbed on 11:20 train in Col. A. S. Cutts case
Police linked a stolen diamond ring worth 300 dollars to John Ford after Lt Wheeler spotted the ring on his hand at the Central depot as the 11:20 train arrived. Ford admitted buying it and warned of retribution if sent to him, but Mr Fouche identified it. Ford, from East Americas Ford family, had been believed to flee. Grand jury indicted him.
