Drunk man kills town marshal in Coolidge shooting
May 13 in Moltrie, William Sheffield, town marshal of Coolidge, was shot and killed during a disturbance. Everett Moncrief, a druggist, was wounded. Lonnie Hart, claimed shooter, fled during an arrest attempt on drunkenness charges and has not been captured.
