Early morning shooting on Crew Street in Atlanta left mail carrier William H. Simpson dead after Willis R. Biggers claimed self defense. Biggers and his brother in law H J Sterne were involved, with no eyewitnesses to the first shot. Police took Biggers into custody after he surrendered, while Sterne was arrested later.
