Sumter County Grand Jury Presentments 1902
The May term grand jury of Sumter County Superior Court reports on county officers and facilities. They note neat books for treasurer and sheriff, recommend receipts and source details, praise clerks and ordinary, urge courthouse repairs, improve prisoner bedding and sanitation, and call for road and bridge repairs with convict labor. They list notary appointments, review county schools with enrollment and funding data, and appoint a committee to audit books. They request publication in local papers.
