Dr Hawkins Dies After Illness in Americus
Dr Hawkins died yesterday just after noon after weeks of illness. Funeral services will be held this afternoon with Knights of Pythias and DeMolay commandery conducting. Pallbearers include K M McDonald A J Buchanan William Argue W E Staley Charlie Lamar W P Burt J W Carter S H Stanfield. Governor Morgan County Ga born January 181s, Jefferson Medical College graduate, survived by children John W Hawkins C J Hawkins S B Hawkins Jr Neal Hawkins and several spouses.
