Judges Littlejohn in Sumter cited amid editorial clash
The Moultrie Observer defends Judge Z A Littlejohn of the Southwestern Circuit, faulting those who condemn him over the governor’s pamphlet dispute. It notes public linen washing harms law respect and praises Littlejohn as a foe of liquor and vice while criticizing mob pressure. Editorial commentary also discusses press freedom and a pending imperial conference on naval power and Anglo Japanese relations.
