Poppies will be worn to commemorate the day with silk flowers sold to aid French orphans.

A Ford touring car owned by Americus Lighting company was taken Tuesday afternoon from in front of 313 College Street, the apartments of Manager Ewing. The theft occurred in broad daylight before Mayor Sheppard's house. Ewing parked the car, left it while lunching, and found it missing at evening return. License 17668, motor 4848413.
