An old fashion paper listing offers on prints and plains such as Percalea and Imperial Organdie at now reduced per yard prices. Bargains include 24s Bey prints, Cordetti stock, Baslate, POR, PK and Ginghams with deep discounts for cash, no charge at catalogue rates.

The University of Georgia trustees elected Walter B Hill of Macon as chancellor to succeed William E Boggs. elected on the second ballot after Dr C White led on first. Hill, a 1870 graduate, lawyer, scholar, temperance advocate, and longtime prohibition supporter, was celebrated for his writings and public service in Atlanta on July 14 1851.
The National Association of Life Underwriters named officers with James Johnson of Springfield as president and Eli B. Weeks of Litchfield as treasurer. Other officers include EW Christy of Cleveland and multiple vice presidents across major cities.
