The store promises neat styles and affordable prices for well dressed gentlemen.

In Epwardsville Alabama on July 4 J W Walker killed Whit Thompson after a dispute with Thompson and Bragg two miles north of town. Walker used an old sword nearly severing Thompson and hacking him while Bragg lay unconscious. Walker fled to town then surrendered to the sheriff and warned of further trouble as investigators prepare a grand jury inquiry.
W B Reynolds returns from New York after securing a 90 year lease on 4000 acres of coal land in Bibb county south of the lower Cahaba river bridge between Gurnee and Blocton. The Bibb County Mining company will be formed with a temporary office at Blocton. Contracts will be let for 50 houses and a joint road by Louisville and Nashville and Southern will serve the mines. Proposed output is 1006 tons per day.
Monteouney Alabama July 4 A well known negro preacher and politician Daviel Belver was fatally shot by Henry Tyre after Belser struck Tyre then confronted his wife seen exiting a house Belser was shot in the breast just above the left nipple the ball exiting the back Tyre fired at close range as Belser approached the gate scenes also note a separate account of a negro excursionist killed near Selma and scattered brief items from nearby towns about burglaries and local incidents.
