PENSION MONEY For Confederates In Sumter Delayed Till May
Disabled Confederate veterans in Sumter county will not receive pensions until May when the grand jury reconvenes to determine the validity of all claims. Widows also wait for spring payment due to a law requiring jury review before disbursement.
