He was exhumed Tuesday and his body placed in the cottage where the killings occurred before the house was burned. Authorities say they were not notified for hours after the blaze and exhumation. Funeral services had been held for the three women.

Farmer shoots self after killing teen on peach farm
Macon Georgia December 26 Roy M Aultman a middle aged farmer and peach grower living near Byron in Hounston county shot and killed a negro youth employed on his place then turned the revolver on himself dying about a half hour later. Eyewitnesses said he fired at a passing truck containing the youth and another worker. Aultman appeared to remorse after the fatal shot and ended his life before hospital arrival.

Subway derailment forces hundreds to grope past third rail
New York December 26 Hundreds of subway riders had to grope their way along underground between tracks skirted by a deadly third rail after two cars of a large train derailed near the Atlantic Avenue station in Brooklyn early today. No injuries were reported as passengers escaped unhurt.
