Slayer of Rival to Be Tried Soon
In Macon on December 14 a conference with W L Funderburk of Rome disclosed that M D Wood will be prosecuted for murder early in January. Wood killed Paul Funderburk and seriously wounded Miss Olene Courson after expressing jealousy. Walter DeFore aided the prosecution, Hall Grice and Block to defend. Wood refused to talk at the jail.
