Brunswick to Birmingham Railroad Chartered in December

Beckham Inauguration Marked By Elaborate Kentucky Ceremonies

Fraxgrant Kentucky December 11 Governor Beckham was inaugurated for a three year term in the most elaborate ceremonies seen in the state this decade. The parade included all military companies three regiments the Duckworth club of Cincinnati civic societies and officials from Louisville and other towns. At the capitol the oath was administered by Chief Justice Intelrigg in the presence of spectators. Afterward the governor reviewed the state troops and outlined policies for his administration promising support for Kentucky's industrial development.
