In Ratmau Aug 27 Sheriff Hodges took James Hill an insane 40 year old man to Raleigh asylum after he asked a fellow passenger for a penknife to clean his nails and stabbed the man on a Wake Forest bound train severing an artery. The victim died within moments as the train reached Wake Forest. Hill’s deed followed a dispute over land division and his desire to keep the old homestead. He is to receive it.
