Twenty five people died and many were injured across the country over the weekend in accidents from autos to flying mishaps. Seven auto fatalities marked the list, along with drownings, train, storm, wire and launch mishaps. In Chicago a University of Chicago medical student, John Klassin, 25, was beaten to death after an alleged insult to three sisters. his companion James R. Mitcham was slugged. Eight suspects, led by Archie Carlini, 21, were in custody with confessions from four.

Phantom Bandit Arrested in Dayton Robbery Case
