Alsop a bad man tied to bigamy murder case
James B. Alsop, arrested in April for the murder of Miss Lena Olsen in Duluth in August 1394, died by suicide in Seattle city jail. Police believe he influenced orders and may have killed Miss Olsen as well as connected crimes in Tacoma and Seattle. Trains Collide In Gallin Tunnel Wreck Injures Three
At Gallin tunnel on the Pittsburg division of the Pennsylvania railroad about 1 a m two trains collided. Three men were badly injured and several cars destroyed. Fireman J D McKendree of Altoona Brakeman T W Carnahan of Xoumro Pa Thomas Vincent and a negro porter were among the injured. One train consisted of two freight cars and empty Pollman cars. The crash caused a damage estimate of $35,000.
