Panhandle Radio Amateurs Plan Hidden Transmitter Hunt
Panhandle Amateur Radio Club of Amarillo schedules a transmitter hunt today with 25 cars equipped for two way radio. Jerry King and Lowell Richardson will hide the station and lead the hunt at 2 p.m. at th and Tyler, using loop sticks to triangulate the signal. The first to locate the hidden transmitter will receive an engraved trophy as about 25 cars participate.
