W B Hamilton, charged with liquor law violation and previously reversed on appeal, earned a one year suspended sentence after a jury found he possessed half a pint of whiskey. Grand jury delay until Friday. investigators reported 31 indictments in two weeks of the August term. A charge of swindling by worthless check against Mrs S F Kennedy was dismissed due to unavailable witnesses in another state.
