Amarillo Federation of Women's Clubs announces a second in a series of get acquainted parties on Tuesday at 2:30 PM at the Federation Club House 2001 Wolflin. The goal is to organize new clubs for Amarillo newcomers and women seeking affiliate groups in child study antique study book review home interest arts and crafts and non-sectarian Bible study. All interested women invited.
The L Amistad Club met at the Crowns home for a family social with a Halloween theme. Mrs. L R Duvall led a brief business session. E F Ruddick received an anniversary gift for her Pollyanna. games and a paper dress contest were enjoyed with Ed Norman and Jack Anderson winners.
The Amarillo Air Force Base Officers' Wives Club hosts a bridge and canasta party Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the officers' club on base. Reservations are not necessary.
