One thousand trees were planted yesterday at Amarillo City Lake by Panhandle Out door Sportsmen's Club members. About 700 willows and 300 walnuts were placed above the highwater line, bringing total plantings to more than 3,500. The effort aids fish food, protection and lake beauty.
