County Attorney A W Salyars said he is certain her husband Steve D Gay 55 caused the injuries and killed himself with a 30 40 Krag rifle. Coroner A M Reese noted the deaths were self inflicted. The couple s 21 year old daughter Lois Reeves stopped the attack by striking her father with a .22 and driving him away. Mrs Gay had filed for divorce and just returned from Mineral Wells.
