Holmes Contracts for Drilling of Two Wells

W. H. Holmes contracted with John Weatherly and an Oklahoma independent producer to drill two wells. The first targets an offset to the Prairie producer in section 25 on the Weatherly tract, the second in the eastern half of the eastern quarter of the same section. The rig must be up within sixty days and the well spudded in within ninety days. Holmes No. 1 Morse, Gray county, is drilling below 1000 feet with encouraging formation, 209 feet higher than the dry Holmes No. 2.

Head of State Doctors Meet in Potter County Luncheon
