Trawler Frederick B Seized With 16000 Cases of Liquor
A 195 ton steam trawler named Frederick B was seized by the coast guard cutter Manhattan near Monmouth Beach New Jersey. First Bale of Cotton Arrives in Amarillo Season 1924
The first bale of cotton for 1924 was brought to Amarillo yesterday by PD. J. Muncy of Tascosa about 36 miles away. Muncy, a well known local farmer, has 49 acres in cotton but reports heavy grasshopper damage. He has stored his bale in Amarillo awaiting the completion of the Amarillo gin.
