Lights stay on until 11 p.m. for three nights as judges visit all displays. Participants may enter multiple classes with exceptions for Classes 4 and 5 based on overall effect. Contest limited to residential homes and small apartments.

Oklahoma A&M Wins Crop Judging Contest at Chicago
Oklahoma A&M College topped the crop judging contest at the international livestock exposition in Chicago edging Texas Tech. The Aggies scored 5,055 points to Tech's 8,018.2 with Texas A&M third at 4,951. Individual honors went to Robert Wright of Oklahoma A&M, followed by Allen C. Elliot. Robbie E. Gill of Texas Tech was third. A separate note claims over 34.5 million U.S. housewives sew at home with 95 percent sewing.
