Man Killed in Conveyor at Cotton Oil Mill Here
Roy Sloan 41 died when he fell into a 12 inch screw conveyor at Amarillo Cotton Oil Company's mill during a scuffle with James Thomas Teague in a carload of cottonseed. Teague 60 was jailed at Potter County awaiting investigation. witness Everett Downing described the struggle and Sloan's body being torn by the conveyor. Funeral arrangements pending.
