Strother becomes Polk Street junior pastor. C. R. Hooton to Sudan and Amherst. F. M. Neal returns as district evangelist. G. H. Slover named president of Amarillo College.

Clifford Durant, son of William C. Durant, is organizing an airplane manufacturing company modeled on modern auto plants with a five airplanes per day production line around the American Eagle Aircraft company of Kansas City Missouri. Detroiter partners are said involved in the project, seen as the first to mass produce airplanes like cars.
Three crew members die after fumigation gas on the steamer F. J. Luckenbach. Walter Demarcus 38 Angul Bass 34 and A Montedravo 42, all from New York, found in bunks as ship arrives at Commonwealth pier.
A blaze at 5 am in Quitaque destroyed the Ozark Inn two cafes a barber shop and damaged other buildings with losses expected over 20000. Four home demonstration clubs in Potter County will donate quilts to the Children’s Home. Led by agent Mies Izora Clark the clubs from Soney River Road Bushland and Brady gathered to sew and finish the quilts at an all day session for Thanksgiving delivery.
The Sagunto went ashore four miles south of Ymuiden during a gale and is believed to have foundered with the crew dead. The Ymuiden lifeboat that went to aid the vessel capsized but the crew were saved.
