Dallas Council Session Ends In Near Riot Over Garbage Fee
Mayor pro tem J B Adque Jr faced charges from councilmen for provoking a chaotic meeting with protests over a 90 cent monthly garbage fee. Five councilmen and City Manager W R Smithham left the chamber as boos and name calling erupted before the session adjourned.
