Home Wedding for Amarillo Girl Cassie Stephenson
Miss Cassie Stephenson, daughter of Mr and Mrs W D Stephenson, married Cpl John Warren Conway Jr at the bride’s parents home in Amarillo on Monday evening November 5. The service was read by Dr Earl G Hamlett with an improvised altar of chrysanthemums. The couple exchanged vows as bridesmaids sang and the processional featured traditional weddings marches. The bride wore a light blue wool frock with gold nailheads and belt, and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses.

Conway, Fredericksburg, is a San Antonio high school graduate who studied at Northeast Center Junior College and Texas A. & M. He formerly played pro football with the Birmingham Barons.
