Funeral services for J D Singleton 67 longtime Amarillo contractor who died from injuries in an automobile accident will be held at Central Presbyterian church at 2 20 Tuesday afternoon. The body lies in state at the family home 2206 Taylor street until 1 20 Tuesday then to the church. Burial in Liane cemetery. Pioneer Builder. Singleton was a prominent Panhandle contractor.
Armistice Day observances in Amarillo featured a citywide parade led by Hanson Post American Legion with participation from eemc clubs schools churches and patriotic groups.
