Drug wholesalers study aims to cut costs through distribution methods
A nationwide study on drug wholesale distribution led by a temporary committee cites stock sizes from 40 000 to 70 000 items and labor costs over 50 percent of total costs. It notes large price drops in vitamins sulfa drugs and penicillin and proposes making the study a permanent NWDA committee.
