The campaign would end once the quota is met and special features would not be available to purchasers after fill. Only two bond issuing agencies, Paramount Theater and C. R. A daughter was born yesterday in Selma Alabama to aviation student and Mrs Dan Miller. The mother is Lena Solnick formerly manager of the Fifth Avenue Shop 616 Polk for two years.

Beyer Enters First in Japan From Panhandle
Perry Lawrence Beyer son of Mr and Mrs P L Beyer 2702 Harrison became the first Panhandle man to land in Japan as an aerial gunner in a torpedo bomber delivering food to prisoners of war. The plane landed in the Tokyo area Aug 29 after three and a half years in the Navy. He was discharged a week ago at San Pedro Cal. He previously worked at the Amarillo National Bank and is a graduate of Amarillo High School and Amarillo College.
