Bartholomew to Aid City in Amarillo Building Code

Night axe attack kills child in Florida home

A Tampa family suffered a fatal injury when an unidentified assailant entered during the night and struck Buddy Merrell, 5, with a meat cleaver. Rooming House Fire Destroys Building Injures Two

A two story rooming house at Seventh and Jackson Streets owned by Mrs R K McMurtry Tulsa and run by Mrs J J Miller burned early today. Fire caused $7 000 to $10 000 in losses with most personal belongings destroyed and about thirty occupants displaced. Two runners suffered sprained ankles escaping second story windows and one person burned on the arm. Origin undetermined.
