Toney Chisum Opens $250000 Auto Building in Amarillo
The Post Junior Cowboy band will perform at the grand opening of Toney Chisum Inc.’s $250,000 automobile building at Eleventh and Polk streets in Amarillo. The three story fireproof showroom houses Hudson Essex and Stutz models, with a large parts stock and modern shop on the second floor. Visitors will tour all floors via an automatic elevator as dealers across 55 Texas counties and New Mexico observe the ceremony and showcases.

Stutz Speedster Wins Great Race at Atlantic City
A two passenger Stutz Safety Speedster won the 75 mile stock car race at Atlantic City Motor Speedway on May 17 with a time of 52 minutes 10.54 seconds and an average speed of 86.24 mph over 60 laps. Tom Roony of the Stutz experimental division drove the car to victory as the AAA oversaw conditions and the field consisted of 14 starters.
