Monday morning lawmen answered a 3.2 beer sale case at the Texas Grill in Amarillo. Sheriff Bill Adams and Police Chief W R McDowell seized five labeled bottles and several unlabeled ones. C L Gathright, proprietor, was arrested after a Saturday raid and released on $750 bond for possession of intoxicating liquor for sale. Other cafe owners pressed for 3.2 beer have since withdrawn amid the test case, awaiting results and federal permit plans.
