Williams Orr Insurance Building Erected on Fast Sixth Street

The two story Williams-Orr Insurance Agency building on Fast Sixth Street next to the News-Globe was designed for future growth. Mr Williams traveled east to study home offices and large insurers to inform the design. Over 26000 dollars were spent in a 45000 dollar total investment. Architect R Randall designed it with Kerr and Walsh as associates. Ground floor houses Williams-Orr, balcony McKnight Williams Abstract, and second floor hosts Gulf Production Texas Adjustment Springfield Fire and Marine Insurance offices.
