First Train Leaves On New Line Tonight
The first train over Santa Fe’s Amarillo to Boise City route pulls tonight at 9 30 PM. It is a mixed train with coaches baggage and freight, giving Amarillo its first direct rail link to Boise City territory and a through route to Spearman Perryton and other towns on the Spearman branch. In Bettisfield McKeesport Pennsylvania on May 15 a Pittsburgh Airways plane with three women passengers and a pilot escaped serious injury after landing on one wing.
