Mrs Alta Freeman will spend the weekend in Canada visiting friends. Mr and Mrs Herman Rietman have moved to 1108 Fairmont Avenue after a brief marriage period. Mrs Hirschfield of R Barnard's plans a ten day return from a business trip to El Paso. Homer Tanner has come back from an out of town trip.

Funeral services for Mrs. Earl J. Curry were held at Griggs funeral chapel with Rev. F W O Malley officiating. Interment followed at Llano cemetery. She died at her brother J A Cox’s home on North Fillmore Street and is survived by her husband J Earl Curry a sister Mrs Marvin of Kansas City and brother.
The John Alden chapter of the Children of the American Revolution will hold its last meeting of the year at 10 oclock Saturday at the home of new president Mrs E c Houghton Jr 1700 Polk street. Marion Wyatt and Miss Houghton will report on the Washington congress. The chapter with the largest membership in the state and winner of a prize for new members is sponsored by the Llano Betacado chapter of the D A R. Grapefruit grown in Porto Rico in the past year would fill nearly 1 000 000 boxes.
