Associated Press report from Oklahoma City May 14 states Bert Meredith, ex-convict, testified Ray Terrell confessed killing Luther Bishop, the state detective shot in his home last December. Meredith, a defense witness in Edith Bishop’s murder trial, described Terrell in Seminole on April 10 with two guns and accomplices present.

Survived by his wife and three daughters Mrs Willie Byrd Mrs Maggie Strepy and Mrs Jesesie Bell Davis of Duncan Oklahoma along with two brothers and four sisters in Alabama. Funeral arrangements pending arrival of relatives and will be announced by Blackburn Funeral Home.
