Home Demonstration Division Meeting at Canyon College
RNI the home demonstration division of the extension service will be held at Canyon College on May 15. Mrs. Curtis Roach will preside as chairman of the home demonstration council in District 1. Speakers include Dr. J A Hill college president Mrs Glenn Dowlen Canyon and Miss Helen Swift rural women’s organizations sociologist. Attendees will tour the college.

Dedication Weekend Draws 2000 Visitors to Amarillo Hospital
Hanson Post of the American Legion plans to host about 2000 visitors for the Veterans' Hospital dedication in Amarillo. Officials including Col Louis A. Johnson and Col Monroe Johnson will attend along with Congressman Marvin Jones. The event at 1:45 p.m. Sunday will be outdoors if possible, with a backup in Municipal Auditorium.

Black man Charged Again as Peeping Tom
L. C. Sheppard, a Black man previously fined $50 in corporation court for vagrancy after a peeping tom arrest, was arrested again after a call from Mrs. Westberry reporting a widow peeper at her home. A $200 bond was set for trial.
