Messenger Robbed of Securities In New York Kidnap Tale
Jules Berman a 37 year old street messenger for Taylor Bates and Co told West Chester police he was kidnapped in the financial district yesterday robbed of negotiable securities valued over 100000 and taken by car to a Bronx vacant lot after handing a bank certified check to his firm. He says he was bound gagged and dumped in a deserted area north of the city. Nearly 500 whales were taken in Alaskan waters last year.
