The 16 year old bride known as Peaches loses a separation suit against 52 year old real estate operator Edward W Browning. He wins and ends her $300 weekly alimony. Peaches and her mother have no funds for appeal and Browning says he will not take her back.
A Nevada claim swirl warns Amarillo readers that Weepah in Nevada offers little real gold. Prospectors John T. Murphy and oil operator J. B. Harris relay a March 18 letter cautioning friends against a hurried rush, noting scant deposits and urging restraint.

James D. Buster of Sherman elected grand master of the Grand Lodge of Texas Odd Fellows at the meeting last night. Ben C. Richards Jr of Dallas named deputy grand master, Ray Rector of Stamford grand warden, E Q Vestal of Dallas grand secretary, and John A McKee of Fort Worth treasurer. Dallas chosen as next convention city.
Coleman dispatch reports John Watson age 22 survived thirty minutes buried by a gravel slide on Hard Creek. City workers freed him and he died after reaching his home. Watson was the son of J W Watson.
The forecast calls for tonight and Wednesday to be fair and warm. Temperature extremes from a year ago were 59 and 42 degrees, with hourly readings today showing 7 am 30, 8 am 82, 9 am 88, 10 am 43, 11 am 48, noon 58, and 1 pm 59 degrees.
Austin March 22 George J Hassell of Farwell confessed slayer of thirteen whose execution had been set for March 25 will be taken from the Huntsville penitentiary and placed in jail awaiting the Court of Criminal Appeals decision Secretary to the Governor Gatewood announced Hassell’s sentence may have been illegal as an appeal was pending by notice of appeal The Dalhart court ordered Palmer county sheriff to move Hassell to a jail pending action on an appeal yet to be filed in the appeals court.
Sherman dispatch reports Sam Trimble a pioneer cattleman and large landholder died suddenly at his Coleman home. He was about 85, came to Texas fifty years ago and moved to Coleman in 1886. His wife Elizabeth Voelke of Sherman survives.

Chapei district sees sniping arson and looting as thousands of Shantungese troops and criminals loot, violence erupts, civilians killed, women stripped, and fires light the sky. Six persons were injured Monday night when a large auto coach driven by Joe Bowers Jr skidded and overturned on the Miami road about ten miles east of Pampa. Bowers suffered a broken shoulder and cuts while others including Clarence Olson Carl Cooper Rena McElwain Crystal Barris and Miss Marie Renotte sustained multiple injuries. All victims were brought to the hospital in Pampa for emergency treatment.

Police say two Argentinan men boarded a daylight raid on Bone's Economy Dress shop at 213 East Fourth Street. One man allegedly slugged a saleswoman who sounded the alarm as merchandise was taken. The pair were charged with theft and handed to county officials after officers found a stash of goods in their apartments.
