Where Has Rusty Been Mystery Dog Returns Home
In July 1947 Rusty the 50 pound brown and white cocker spaniel belonging to the Jerry Del Prete family wandered away from 4217 Hughes. After frantic searching and many inquiries, Winston Bivins spotted a dog resembling Rusty at 1810 Buchanan and the Williamses returned him after confirming with Brown Veterinary Hospital staff. They had called him Pedro, but identification matched, and Rusty now appears to be the same dog seen over a month ago, though his whereabouts earlier months remain unknown. If readers have clues, send them to the newspaper.
