A Gulf Coast port reports a sturdy American cargo vessel with half her starboard side blown away by an Axis torpedo completed a 12 day voyage home. Only two crewmen were injured. The ship sailed again after repairs, buoyed by a determined crew despite a large hole down to the keel.
