Older workers now dominate Amarillo city staff insured under the group policy raising the monthly rate to 1.68 per 1000 with a 50 50 city employee contribution reversal from prior sums. The change shifts 14 cents to employees and 10 cents to the city starting with the July payroll as 163 remaining insured include seniors born as early as 1867 and through 1899.
