Rites Held for Chet Lieurance at Liano Mausoleum

Funeral services for Chet Lieurance were held at 3 PM at Liano Mausoleum under Blackburn-Shaw. Dr Roy Snodgrass of First Christian Church officiated. Lieurance, former Huber Petroleum assistant manager at Borger, died Friday in Casper Wyoming where he was a furniture dealer. He was son in law of Mr and Mrs E T Burk of 2112 Hayden Street.

Pantex Offers Free Kindling Scrap to Public

Lt. Col. R. M. Bacher announced at Pantex Ordnance Plant that remaining kindling scrap will be given away free for 10 days. Residents may bring trucks to Gate 3 on the west boundary to load bricks scaffolds and mortar boxes for disposal and removal on the plant site.

Paul C Coffin Funeral Held At Ellwood Park

Final tribute to Paul C Coffin, 45, who died of a heart attack, was held at Ellwood Park Presbyterian Church with Dr E B Fincher officiating. He was VP of production for Shamrock Oil and Gas, a World War I veteran, and resident of Amarillo for four years with survivors including wife Vesta, two daughters, a son, siblings, and relatives. Burial in Itasca.
