A powerful storm left at least nine people injured and caused extensive damage across the area. Buildings were demolished and crops wiped out as winds roared through, uprooting trees and disrupting daily life. Emergency crews northern districts and relief agencies mobilized to assess the devastation.
A late Wednesday tornado struck Crosby County Texas killing two people and injuring nine or more as homes and buildings were destroyed and crops wiped out. Names and injuries listed include W T Easter 60 and Mrs Easter 55, Thelma Easter 15, Raymond Teston 22, Mrs Teston 21, and others with fractures head injuries and lacerations. County reports 50 families in dire need and Tornadoes Page 2.
