Woman Held in Tahoka Death Shocks Local Community
June 10 Tahoka reports a woman was arrested in connection with the unsolved death of Fred Chase a 33 year old farmer from the Gordon Community found shot in an automobile near his home. Investigators found a 88 caliber pistol on the car floor and a .32 revolver in a door pocket. The County Attorney G H Nelson declined to reveal the suspect's identity and said a charge would be filed later today. The arrested woman is jailed in Lynn County.
