Carousel dominates Broadway mood with hit tunes and star debuts
The current Broadway musical Carousel draws praise for its Rodgers and Hammerstein score, the shift from Budapest to a New England town, and Nan Merriman’s Vic tor debut singing key numbers like If I Loved You and June Is Bustin Out All Over. The Decca album captures the cast with dialogue and orchestration.
